Just wanted to let you know I have read Changing Habits Changing Lives and have started eating healthier and already feel a lot better. I now crave fruit and vegetables but before I only ate some because I knew they were good for me. I bought myself a breadmaker and have started making my own bread and also bought an icecream maker and have had success with both appliances. My 20 year old daughter was home last week for a few days (she's a Uni student in Brisbane - I live in Toowoomba) and she read your book and copied out recipes from the recipe book - she was already a healthy eater but is even better now after reading your book - she got herself a bottle of Apple Cider vinegar for her salads as she was using ordinary vinegar.

I bought your book through your website and was led to your website through a newsletter about microwaves that a friend emailed to me. Do you still send out newsletters as I could not access any on your website?

I bought your books & video in Qld at the Wildly Wealthy Women's weekend this year. I loved them and your very enlightening and entertaining talk over dinner to us all. I love your philosophy about life and changing ourselves from the inside out - that is the key for real health and I believe and practice this whole-heartedly. I have been a vegetarian for about 30 years (I am 43) try to eat only organic too. Thanks for the support. My three teenage daughters and I are all changing the way we eat thanks to your 21 day program. We love the protein shake and it really has helped give me more energy. My clothes are feeling a bit looser to. So far so good. I am a thermomix consultant and have really changed my way of eating since I bought it. No more processed foods in our cupboards and its great making wholesome foods that you know and can taste are better for you.

Firstly I would like to say I have recently been to your conferences in Mackay and think you are wonderful! I have just finished watching Oprah and I can't stop thinking that you have to go on her show and set America straight! It is really scaring what information they are telling the world. Calorie controlled, non fat etc etc. I couldn't believe my ears! It was also giving children and teenagers tips on how to eat healthy. An example was for them to eat a ham sandwich with double cheese rather than a salad sandwich because the bread had too many calories. Oh my goodness they need you!!!!!!

I came across you one day while researching school lunch ideas. I run a tupperware business and I was researching the area of healthy eating etc to encourage sales in tupperware.
 
I was fascinated by some of the things you were saying and found myself driving off to the library the very same day. With your book in hand I set about reading it chapter by chapter, I couldn't put it down. Every spare minute I had I was reading your book. I was appalled at some of the things you have told me and as a consequence I took to my pantry and tried my hardest to make it a healthier pantry.
 
We are now eating healthier foods, I am trying my best to source products that are not genetically modified, that use better ingredients etc, etc. We are by no means perfect yet as it's a learning curve. I am baking my own cakes and biscuits (when possible) and our fruit and vegetable intake has increased massively.  
 
I have struggled with my weight and my energy levels since having three children in 4 years and was beginning to think I was destined to remain fat. Since adopting a healther way of eating (your way) and not buying *crappy* diet foods, just wholesome good for you products I am pleased to report that I have lost 8kg without even trying. I am no longer always hungry, and I am no longer having sugar cravings. I have cut my coffee consumption down from 6 cups per day (which was already a reduced amount) to two small cups per day. My water consumption has gone off the scale.
 
One thing I have noticed though is how great I feel and how horrible I feel when I go a little bit wrong. I recognise the 'food hangover' for what it is now instead of just thinking I was feeling off and eating my way through a packet of biscuits to make myself feel better. When I pick up a packet of lollies in the supermarket I now know they are going to make me feel yuck and I put them back, the feeling of being healthy outweighs the two second high from the lolly.
 
I had tried lots of diets over time and always had that hungry, weak feeling. Now I feel fed, healthy and I don't feel deprived. If I want a piece of cake I'll have a piece of cake but it will be my cake and not a shop bought cake. Bread is proving to be difficult, not to buy but to eat. I have no idea but I just can't stomach it anymore. Which is what I have found with lots of foods. I'm now loving muesli, salads, rice and vegetables among other things. I've cut down the size of meat portions for the family (I now add organic lentils & vegies to spaghetti bolognese and no one even notices) and our plates are now full of lovely vegetables.  
 
I just want to say thank you. You have changed my life in so many ways. I'm becoming healthier and fitter. For a while I was experiencing terrible chest pains and my doctor had no answers. The chest pains have practically gone now and my doctor is delighted with me. I no longer go to bed at night scared that I won't wake up in the morning. I have now returned your book to the library and have bought a copy. I highly recommend having your book in anyone's house at all times - it is invaluable reading and something I will continuously read over and over again.

I now do not have a Panasonic and have upgraded to a larger machine. I attempted the bread in my Sunbean Turbo machine and made a big mess of it. I have just finished reading your book for the fifth time. We received a copy in 1998 when my husband, Sean, and I were attending Howard's practice in Mooloolaba.
 
We now have 2 children and would like to provide a natural diet for them. We are currently living in Fiji and I feel this is a great opportunity to introduce a new variety of foods to my family as many of their previous regular foods are unavailable. Sean was recently in Sydney and was unable to get your cookbook. Hi. Its been a while since I got out of bed early enough to walk so I thought I better email just to let you know how wonderful your book is. I love it. I got it Friday, read it Saturday and by Sunday afternoon I had cleaned out the pantry and made Peanut Butter cookies, Banana Cake, Corn Flake Chicken and Tuna Casserole. This morning we had pancakes and I finally got your Bible Bread to work. These are all the things my mum used to make (not the Bible Bread) but somehow they've gotten lost. I think its like brain washing - forever trying to save time with ready made products. The trouble is I am forever worrying about fat, chemicals, laziness, are the kids eating healthy enough, why am I so tired, guilty etc. I think I've finally got the point from your cookbook, if the ingredients are healthy then there is no need to worry about the rest. Thats what I want... a lot less worry. Anyway, enough sermonizing. Congratulations. I'm so proud of you. Its a beautiful book.

I would like to purchase a copy of your book Changing Habits Changing Lives for a friend of mine. I have found the book extremely useful and inspiring over the past 5 years since it happened to fall into my hands.... long story but briefly it goes like this: I was going out with an overweight man who wanted to know the secret to my fitness and weight management (which has more to do with lots of sports activity than nutritional kowledge), when I spied your book at a health food store while we were shopping for his household. I leafed through it and insisted he buy it for himself to help him. He didn't read it, but I did out of interest and learned heaps from it, and so developed the habits from there. Although I have no weight issues myself, I enjoy eating well and feeding others with good fresh food, and your book is the guideline I use.

Also my oldest daughter borrowed it when she left home to start their flat onto good shopping and eating habits, and it has been a big help there too.

My daughter is seven months old and I have just started introducing her to solids. Do you have any advice on introducing solids - or can you recommend any books. I really want to give her the best start that I can and would appreciate any advice from you. I have read quite a bit of information and have found some to be conflicting, but I know I can trust information provided by you.

By the way, my friends all love "Anna's Apple Slice" - the only problem is - my husband hates it when I share it, he want's it all to himself!!

I came across the Changing Habits Changing Lives site while looking for a recipie for a banana cake, and as I read the recommendation from a Queensland lady about your site I was on it. Within 10 minutes I was glued to all the information, and bought the books and the 21day Weight Loss E book. Two months on I love it all to bits. I am learning so many things, through the books and the monthly newsletters.I have always loved fresh fruit and vegetables, but with all the new recipes it is just wonderful. The family keeps asking for more of what I cook. I have also had contact dermatitis for years, and it has nearly all gone. I am also looking into investing into a Thermomix as it sounds too good to be true. I have enrolled in some demonstration classes in the new year. I also can't wait to see you at a seminar in my home town.

Well you are a legend there is no doubt about it.....my friend has read your book and is now a total convert, and is following your book almost to the letter. And the best bit is that after just 7 days of following your advice she has hardly any arthritis pain, isnt taking the really nasty drugs and has cancelled the appointment with the butcher who recommended removing her gall bladder...so you see its all good. She was so rapt she was even going to send me some flowers and I only lent her your book - I did nothing - she should send them to you...  She says that she seriously cannot remember a time in her life when she felt this good or had this much energy...and she has lost quite a bit of weight too - another added bonus.

So now I am going to send a copy of your book to my sister who suffers from depression and her husband is a borderline diabetic. Have you got any advice for them that I could pass on with your book????

Thanks for your most wonderful book. I have read it from cover to cover a number of times. We eat your bread everyday. It is so delicious it is almost impossible to stop at just a couple of slices. I was diagnosed with bowel cancer at age 39 years, with metastasis in one mesentery lymph gland so consequently underwent six months of  chemotherapy. Three years down the track and all is looking good! This incident in my life has made me very careful regarding what I put into my body and what I use to cook with. Your book has given me some very important information and I have put most of it into practice. Thanks again for the book I hope you will publish further books. Would you consider putting on your website information updates on health issues and issues relating to the subject matter of your book?

Your book puts it all together in simple easy chapters and it doesn't take days or even hours to read through. I love the way you ask your readers to simply read one chapter per week and make one change in their diet and then go onto the next one. I have come to realise that what folks want is simple easy to do steps. We are all too busy to sift through the fluff of the most complicated diets and health books. Give me what I need and give it to me quickly! That is the reality of todays world and that is what you have in your book.

I would just like to say that myself and my partner did the 21 day weight loss and thought it was FABULOUS! Over the winter period we have put on a bit of weight and have decided to go back on the 21 day weight loss. We pretty much live by the rules of wholefoods and 'real' foods opting not to buy manmade foods at all. We even went so far as to buy a Thermomix which we just love. I would love to see Cyndi more on television on shows like on ACA to spread the word as we are feeling just fabulous and perhaps even a list of brand names of foods which are good for you.

Thank you for your email, you probably noticed that I ended up buying the video and audio. They have been great, but the most valuable thing of all has been your cookbook! I bought your original book a couple of years ago when you were on Good Morning Australia. I think that your ideas and philosophy are fantastic, but I had a lot of difficulty putting them into action (as I am not very creative or imaginative in the kitchen).

My name is Sara, and I'm 16 years old, with an insatiable interest in nutrition, diet, fitness, and everything related to making the body work efficiently, and look fantastic. Since I was 12 years old, I am probably what you could define as a crash dieter, and have taken pills, starved myself, and even went through a brief period bulimia, only to binge and maintain a weight I was unhappy with. I dreaded P.E. classes when we did body mass index, because no matter how much I flogged my body the months, weeks or days before, I still bordered on the overweight line. I sat and refused to eat at lunch time with my slim friends as they stuffed their faces full of chips, chocolate, and soft drink, and even took pleasure in buying them junk foods to see if I could make them get fat. My obsession had become unhealthy, and then in the New Year of 2003 I made a resolution to change my whole outlook on life. I have never turned back from a satisfactory weight exercise! However, with the stresses of year 11 bearing down hard upon me, the weight I was satisfied with (54 kg) declined further, to a point where my teachers (all six of them), had a meeting with my distraught mother to ask if I was becoming anorexic. My energy levels were low, I couldn't concentrate in class, my friends were worried, I was cranky, I had lost several kg in three months, I hadn't had my cycle in 12 months, my mum was scared, I was starting to get sick, and I just couldn't stand it anymore! I took a week off of school, and reassessed my nutritional status. I read the book "Food Combining for Health" by Jean Joice and Doris Grant, and read my way through every book on the body I could find. Through that week of self exploration I came to understand what the body needs, how to maintain it, and achieve a good weight. I took up doing some Yoga, and Pilates to incorporate into my grueling runs that I put myself through, and meditated on what my academic and physical plan was for not only the rest of the year, but what I wanted out of life, and how to achieve it. Then came "Changing Habits CHanging Lives". I ploughed through it, and by the end I was laughing, and had tears in my eyes. It contained all the principles that I had for so long sought to adhere to my lifestyle, and it was so simple to follow that I jumped into it as quickly as I could. I weigh 54 kg now, and find myself absolutely smitten with my body as it continues to improve in its efficiency, tone, and I love how my runs are no longer grueling, but enjoyable and still give me the results that I enjoy. This book inspires me to strive to help people improve their health, fitness, and state of mind. I want to be a nutritionist/personal trainer/chiropractor, and bring a world of well being to people that is hidden by the smoke screen of artificial foods.

Ive nearly finished reading your book and I love it! Ive started making changes and feel much happier that I am so much more aware of what going into my mouth. I have just cooked some hamburger patties for dinner, I usually throw a few breadcrumbs into the mix. I grabbed the packet out of the pantry and you could have knocked me down with a feather when I read the list of ingredients on this pack of Coles Smart Buy breadcrumbs - I had to share it with you as it is so unbelievable:Wheat flour, wholemeal flour, bakers yeast, rye flour, rye meal, vegetable fibre, gluten, salt, canola oil, mixed grains (kibbled corn, wheat bran, oat bran, buckwheat, tritical, kibbled barley, rolled oats, kibbled maize) mixed seeds, (linseed, sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds, seasame seeds, poppy seeds) kiddled soy, soy flour, white spelt flour, vinegar, roasted malt flour, , vegetable gum (412) sugar, emulsifiers, raising agents, preservatives, molasses, milk solids, honey, tuna oil, vitamins. I threw the packet in the bin.

I saw you here at a seminar on the Sunshine Coast back in June and I was intrigued with your way of thinking when it comes to food. It was all I needed to then purchase your cookbook and start providing healthier meals for my family. I then decided early August to do the 21 day program which I have just finished this week. I feel fantastic and energised along with losing 5kg although I wasn't doing it to lose weight as I was already a size 10. I want to compliment you on your amazing recipes and how easy they have been to prepare for the whole family. I had both my kids 5 and 7 eating the evening meal allocated for each day of the program. They had their favourites being the sweet baked chicken and vegetarian sausage rolls. Your teleseminars have also been a good ongoing backup to the information I now know. I don't know how many of my friends here on the coast I have shared this information with but they are all keen to start the 21 day program.

My name is Tanya and I am a Melbourne based personal trainer. I have read your book "Changing Habits Changing Lives" and highly recommend your book to all of my clients. My husband has a cholesterol level of 8.5. Doctors try and persuade him to take medication which he refuses. I try and convince him to follow your methods, which to him is "too hard". He has done some research of his own and is taking "Policosinol" by Blackmores, which has reduced his levels previously. My question is: What is the product in margarines that transfers cholesterol from bloodstream to surrounding tissue? Is Policosinol safe, or is it simply doing the same as the cholesterol lowering margarines? I truly appreciate your time in reading my email.

Look I know a lot of time has transpired since an update - but here I am, still a devoted follower of what we call the "Cyndi" thing.

We are a family of  6 - four children 10, 8, 6, 4.  Our commencement of your program began 5 years ago.  I was breastfeeding the 3rd child and started her on the new concept of eating as her first solids.  The fourth child, was conceived, breastfeed and was brought up doing the "Cyndi" thing.

The astounding, proven track record of "changing" a families way of eating cannot be underestimated.  Our two eldest children have consumed anti-biotics - the two youngest totally converted to the Cyndi program - never an antibiotic.  Since our conversion - we never experience the "snotty" nose syndrome I see so many acquaintances children have.  Occasionally someone might experience an ill health scenario - it's often then I re-evaluate what is going on in our lives i.e. diet.  Funnily enough, often around Christmas we may have things go on - not a co-incidence though - it's often when my children are over-exposed - parties, break-ups, Christmas that as much as I try to control - am unable to fully.

We constantly give thanks to discovering your concept and program.  We are a much healthier, happy family.  The kids primarily follow our lead and I know their health will thank us in years to follow.

Cyndi you may remember me, I met you in Thailand and I am from Lightning Ridge. Myself and my friend Lisa (American) were speaking to you briefly on how much we enjoyed listening to you. I have two girls nine & 11 and thought that I lead a pretty healthy lifestyle, juicing each morning and walking and watching the "fat". I love food and went on the Karen Daly Diet, however after purchasing your books in Thailand and reading them within the time I was there I was all fired up. Yep I came back to Lightning Ridge and said to my husband it is time for a change, we were in the middle of unpacking, rearranging furniture and cleaning out cupboards (thankfully I have a very understanding husband who wants to live to a very old age as well). I contacted a Byron Bay warehouse and have since had two orders posted over to me. Going organic has made me enjoy cooking much more, a little more effort and time, but the taste is so rewarding and knowing that I am doing something positive for myself and my family is great. One of my daughters is on the weighty side and since changing our eating habits has proudly shown off to me how her pants are becoming loose. She has more confidence about herself which is wonderful. My friend Lisa rang me up halfway through her book discussing things that we never realised.
 
Personally, I enjoyed listening to you the most, it was so inspiring and would go to another of your speaking engagements. Just cannot wait until your next book comes out. I had ezcema on my legs for years and since I have nearly stopped all the preservatives that ezcema has almost vanished. I now have my sister and mother going organic, who have all done the big change. My sister has three boys and has gone and bought your cookbook and requested a breadmaker for Christmas. However, I am confused a little about weetbix - my sister has bought organic weetbix by Uncle Tobys, the ingredients say organic wheat and salt (not seasalt) - as far as I am concerned I will not buy any more cereals and have my husband eating all the different breakfasts in your book. Are these weetbix ok? Like you said they still do not look like a grain of wheat! I would much appreciate your comments on this.  

Once again thank you for letting me see the light, I am a pretty motivated person and do stick to something. Oh and by the way I have so much more room in my cupboards and pantry that I feel organized and in control of my life without too much stress. Thank you and do hope to see you out here next year visiting the opal fields.

I borrowed your book "Changing Habits Changing Lives" from the local library about a year ago and signed up for your emails soon after. I just want to congratulate you all on the fantasitc research that you are all doing and making available for anyone who wants to access it. Every month when I read your emails I am apalled and furious over the lies that society is consistently being fed and the absolute lack of initiative by society to question and challenge these ridiculous and life altering decisions that the "powers that be" lull us all into believing.
I urge you to continue in your endevour to expose this criminal behaviour and I am passing on all your information to anyone who will listen to me.
Congratulations again, and my sincere thanks for helping me to open my eyes to the propoganda we are being fed. The world needs more people like you.

Dear Cyndi, I have just finished reading your book for the fifth time. We received a copy in 1998 when my husband, Sean, and I were attending Howard's practice in Mooloolaba.
