To make an informed decision I believe you need to know the facts. In order to become a vigalant consumer it is important to know what you are buying.  The Australian Quarantine and Inspection Service (AQIS) is a sole government regulator of organic agriculture, production and processing and is responsible for enforcing standards and legislation.  AQIS has approved seven organic grower assoctions which monitor their member-producers to ensure that they adhere to AQIS standards.  So if you want to be sure you are buying organic, look for the seal of approval form the accredited organisations.

Rapadura Sugar Distributors

What is Rapadura Sugar? 
Rapadura sugar is also called, "Sucanat", or "Muscovado", and has various other names.  It is essentially organic pure dried sugar cane juice, in other words there is very little processing as with organic raw  sugar, therefore many nutrients that are available in the sugar cane are also in Rapadura.  A far healthier sugar which can be used in place of organic raw sugar and white sugar.
