With so much talk these days about 'Three Thirty-itis' have you ever stopped and wondered - why has this term become perceived as an accepted fact or ailment and why has such a term come into being.

The answer to 'Three Thirty-itis' lies in the foods we eat and the importance of breakfast and balanced meals during the day. My first rule of thumb is to eat wholefoods whenever they are available. This means choosing ingredients that are as close as possible to their natural sources.

Once you begin eating wholefoods, your body will tell you what is good for you and what doesn't make you feel on top of the world. By paying attention to what it says you will soon learn what is a better meal for you. Not every recipe or ingredient sutis everyone, so you may need to experiment to find the ones that are perfect for you.

Eating recipes based on wholefoods still allows you to eat the foods you love such as chocolate cake, yes CHOCOLATE CAKE! In my cookbook on page 231 there is a fantastic recipe for chocolate cake that I would love you to make and share with your friends and family.
