Corporate giants commit to GE-free ingredients: About time!

30-Oct-2009

Nestle, Foster's, Schweppes and Lindt have committed to keeping their food and drinks free from genetically engineered ingredients in the 2010 Greenpeace Truefood Guide.

The Truefood Guide rates more than 1000 of Australia's food and beverage brands for the presence of GE ingredients.

Sydney Lord Mayor, Clover Moore, welcomed the guide at its Sydney launch as a way of making it easier and simpler for people to make ethical and healthier food choices.

Since the release of the first Greenpeacer Truefood Guide in 2003, more than half of Australia's top food brands have committed to non-GE policies.

Hi Cyndi, Thank you for your email, you probably noticed that I ended up buying the video and audio. They have been great, but the most valuable thing of all has been your cookbook! I bought your original book a couple of years ago when you were on Good Morning Australia. I think that your ideas and philosophy are fantastic, but I had a lot of difficulty putting them into action (as I am not very creative or imaginative in the kitchen). So as you can imagine, when.. more...
